Wow what a shock after seeing the cafe sign - I thought I'd stop for a simple quick late breakfast.....not so
Had an extremely tasty coffee to start, with a peach muffin the size of a football and extremely tasty. I also had a simple egg and ham sandwich - not so - some sort of tasty focaccia bread, with fancy cheese, a great German sausage and a interesting home maid aioli sauce....
Wow never under estimate a small little town cafe in the parking lot of the local gas stop.....don't drive by this one !! -

Loved this small little cafe. African deco flair, good food. Strong coffee. Little mom and pop shop.
Interesting spin on a BLT putting it on a freshly baked ciabatta. It was really good. I would have liked it without butter but that's a personal choice.
All in all a small gem I was happy to stumble upon. -

This place is a gem to be found where you might least expect it. The coffee is amazing. All of the baked products are good. I also enjoyed the sandwiches to go, made with homemade bread and a wonderful garlic aioli. I scheduled my last drive through to rekindle the food memories, but was quite sad to find out that they are closed on Monday (and Sunday). Do yourself a favor and drop by and check it out.

We stopped for gas and coffee and ended up eating the BEST ham and cheese croissant EVER. This is a must stop in Telkwa. Unassuming from the outside and first rate inside.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and ended up staying for almost an hour. Enjoyed one of the best organic mochas and blueberry muffins. The coffee was robust and had just the right amount of chocolate and steamed milk. The blueberry muffin was very filling, full of texture, and not overly sweet. I was just passing through, but would stop again in the future!
